Inspired by Indigenous traditions, the ruins and artisans throughout her life journey in South and Central America, Jewelry Designer AKI KIJIMA introduces a new level of fine handmade jewelry in her brand - AKI ROC JEWELRY. 

"For many years, since I was a child, I had strong love for indigenous ruins and their art. 

In 2010, it made me believe that I used to be a Mayan Mask Maker in my past life :) I had spiritual experiences though my journey in Mexico.

I was created as an artisan in modern life.

In my Debut Collection, REBIRTH, I am introducing the Snake, one of the three Holy Animals in the INCA TRILOGY. 

 

The INCA TRILOGY?

 

The Condor, The Jaguar, and The Snake. 

The Sky, the Earth, and the Underworld are symbolized in the three animals.

​

The Condor is the only bird strong enough to fly up to the heavens and deliver messages to the Universe. The condor represents spirituality and peace.

​

 

The Jaguar stands for patience and inner strength.

It represents the Earth.

 

 

The Ancient Snake that travels to the underworld has powerful symbolism representing creativity, wisdom, transformation, and REBIRTH. 

​

 

These three Holy creatures together represent the balance of life.

The idea of AKI ROC JEWELRY has been growing since 2016 when I began experiencing the dissolution of my marriage. Building the healing jewelry brand was my own healing process. Finalizing my divorce on the day of the Resurrection in April 2019, I felt that I shed my limiting beliefs as a snake sheds its skin. I became a free woman and was able to show my own personal growth as a single mom with my debut collection, REBIRTH.
